Independent resource / launchdev.com
A release notebook, not a software service.
Launchdev is an independent editorial resource about preparing a digital project release and keeping its decision record clear.
What the guide offers
These pages provide a planning structure for scope, checks, open questions, release decisions and follow-through. The structure is intended to be adapted to the actual project and its responsibilities.
The site does not run deployments, monitor a live system, provide accounts or claim to certify release readiness. The diagrams are illustrative, not operational dashboards.
Why the evidence stays attached
A task marked complete and a release decision are different things. A useful record explains which behaviour was examined, what was observed and how that information affected the decision.
The guide therefore keeps planned checks, observed results and unresolved questions distinct. It does not imply that a checklist can cover every condition or remove the need for project-specific judgement.
The worked example
The help-link change on the overview is a constructed editorial example. It does not describe a real client, product incident or measured outcome.
Its purpose is to show a reasoning trail for a small change. The same headings may support a larger discussion, but the checks and responsibilities must fit the real work.
Using the preparation guide
Begin with the actual change and the project’s established process. Use the guide to identify gaps in the record rather than to introduce an unrelated tool or approval system.
For specialised operational, security or other requirements, use the sources and expertise appropriate to the project. This general notebook does not establish those requirements.
